Kristi Walker, the district Department of Health Services Coordinator, works closely with the school nurse and community agencies to make health care and social services more accessible to children and families through the schools. Family Services assists individual families to link up with health and social services by providing support. Additional components of the project include parent support and education opportunities, and recreational opportunities for parents and children.
